The T-Drive disc, based on experience gained in MotoGP and Superbike events, has an innovative coupling between the rotor and the bell consisting of eight T-shaped pins machined into the disc and eight outlines on the bell, thereby allowing the elimination of drive pawls. A specific study of tolerances shows that this configuration achieves not only a significant weight reduction but also both axial and radial floating capable of transmitting more braking torque.
This disc also provides excellent resistance to thermomechanical stress, especially in extreme conditions such as races. T-Drive discs are available for the most common Maxi-Sport models without requiring any modifications.
